Description
Featuring a unique flat profile, JTAPE Seam Sealing Tape is a reinforced clear acrylic foam tape combining a high-tack acrylic adhesive and HDPE release liner to support efficient application and repositioning as needed.
Thanks to its strength and durability, it offers excellent resistance to solvents, chemicals, UV and heat. These features let the tape bond securely to a very wide range of substrates, preventing moisture from seeping into vehicle seams, making it an ideal alternative to standard automotive seam sealers.
And thanks to its high level of flexibility, JTAPE Seam Sealing Tape is easy to apply even in the trickiest of places. Once in place, it can be painted without the need for an adhesion promoter.

Since JTAPE Seam Sealing Tape is designed to offer a permanent sealing solution, you’ll need to use a sharp razor or knife to carefully loosen it from within a car seam. This should be done slowly to achieve a residue-free removal that doesn’t damage the vehicle's surface.
Can you paint over Seam Sealing Tape?
Seam Sealing Tape can be painted over immediately after application and offers an effective seal that prevents moisture or overspray from seeping into the seams, wherever they are on the vehicle.
Is Seam Sealing Tape easier to use than liquid seam sealer?
JTAPE Seam Sealing Tape is an easy-to-use alternative to liquid seam sealer because it can be re-adjusted until you’re happy with the placement. With liquid seam sealers, the application must be spot on the first time around which can take longer and require more skill.
What is the temperature resistance of Seam Sealing Tape?
In the short term (up to 4 hours), Seam Sealing Tape offers temperature resistance up to 120°C/250°F. In the longer term (up to 7 days), the tape can withstand temperatures up to 90°C/195°F.
