Primeshield
Description
Applied in seconds, JTAPE Primeshield prevents overspray getting inside a vehicle and enables a higher quality paint finish. And thanks to its adhesive-less technology it makes the preparation process up to 20 times faster ahead of spraying.
Application couldn’t be simpler; the figure of eight-shaped foam strip is applied to the gap via the smaller-sized section – making it easy for precise fingertip adjustment, even where extra primer is required to cover bare metal and filler patches.
It’s then removed prior to color application, while the primer is soft, to ensure a feathered finish without any need for sanding hard edges.
JTAPE Primeshield is available in either 5/8″ or 7/8″ size options to cover all vehicle types.

FIGURE-OF-EIGHT DESIGN
JTAPE Primeshield comprises a foam strip featuring a small and a large section. The smaller section is applied to the gap first, enabling precise fingertip adjustment until it sits in the central groove. The larger section should remain extended.
