Our traditional fine line masking tape collection includes three main types; Purple, Green and Orange.
Our Purple Translucent Fine Line Masking Tape offers outstanding flexibility, making it the go-to option for intricate, curved designs where precision is essential. Its translucent construction helps ensure accurate placement, while its heat resistance and elongation mean it can adapt to challenging applications without lifting.
Green Fine Line Masking Tape is designed for flexibility and durability, making it a strong all-rounder in the JTAPE range. It can be applied to both straight and curved lines with ease, giving professionals versatility across a variety of intricate paint jobs.
Orange Fine Line Masking Tape offers an excellent balance of flexibility and clean separation. It is thinner than other fine line tapes, making it ideal for contours and curves while maintaining strength under high-heat conditions.
The other fine line masking tapes in the collection include Blue Fine Line Masking Tape which offers a medium flex that performs well on both straight lines and curves. Olive Plus Fine Line Masking Tape has a high level of rigidity while still retaining some flex, making it ideal for detailed customising work.
Striping Tape is engineered specifically for long, precise lines such as coach lines and pinstripes. Its embossed polypropylene carrier combined with a pigmented urethane pressure-sensitive adhesive ensures accuracy and consistency, even across extended runs.
With a thickness of 0.127mm, elongation at break of 600%, and tensile strength of 0.215kg/mm, it is built for both durability and flexibility. It can also withstand up to 138°C for 45 minutes, making it suitable for high-temperature baking processes.
Customising Tape is purpose-made for flexibility and precision, offering professionals the ability to achieve clean edges across customised paintwork. Its PVC carrier and rubber adhesive provide consistent adhesion and clean removal, even under high temperatures. At 150µm thick, it delivers a peel adhesion of 2.6N/cm, elongation above 100%, and tensile strength exceeding 22N/cm. With heat resistance of up to 150°C for one hour, it is most commonly used for colour separation, striping, and detailed customising.
120ºC Lime Precision Masking Tape is a high-performance option for achieving clean, straight lines. Its washi rice paper carrier provides excellent edge definition, while its water-based acrylic adhesive delivers consistent adhesion with easy removal.
One of its standout features is UV resistance of up to seven days, making it suitable for exterior applications where other tapes may fail, and ideal for aerospace and marine applications. It has a thickness of 100µm, peel adhesion of 2.5N/25mm, and a tensile strength of 30N/cm, withstanding temperatures up to 120°C for one hour. It is best used for multi-colour applications, colour separation, straight lines, and prolonged outdoor use.
130°C Flat Orange Precision Masking Tape is available in smaller fine line widths, ideal for interior and exterior applications such as painted surfaces, glass, plastics, mouldings, trims, rubbers and wheels. It offers a highly protective bond on sensitive surfaces and ensures a residue-free removal. It’s also temperature resistant up to 130°C/266°F for 30 minutes and can be exposed outdoors to UV for up to 14 days.
The 160°C High Temperature Crepe Masking Tape offers strong adhesion to materials like plastic, rubber, trim and wheels. It is heat-resistant up to temperatures of 160°C/320°F for 30 minutes, and performs well in wet strip applications while providing excellent resistance to paint-flaking. It’s available in thinner fine line widths as well as popular standard options.
