No Edge Blending Tape is a unique solution allowing users to seamlessly blend new paintwork into old. JTAPE’s blending masking tapes are typically foam-based or paper crepe-based and have a rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive.

Start by peeling the film from the adhesive and begin applying your blending tape to the surface you want to blend on. Blending tape is typically the last to be applied, down a straight or curved swage line. This is what will create a seamless blend on your paint job.

 

If possible, it’s best to remove the blending tape when the clear coat is still wet. This can be done by simply pulling from one end of the tape and carefully removing it at an angle. Using this method should leave you with no adhesive residue on the surface underneath.
